Here is a new way to put firebrick into you Kozy Heat Z42 or Z42CD wood burning fireplace. These are commonly available firebricks, 4-1/2 x 9 x 1-1/4

This is much cheaper than using the oversize bricks that were originally used.

This would be a total of 31 bricks, some would have to be cut

Firebrick ‘A’ = 4½” x 9” (26x) Firebrick ‘B’ = 4½” x 7” (5x)Firebrick ‘C’ = 2½” x 9” (2x)
